With the uncertainty of international travel this last year (and a bit), a lot of families decided to stay in the UK meaning more road trips and staycations. There is nothing worse than a long drive with a little one who is bored. The easy option is to give them an iPad but eventually they will get bored of that too. I came across the KeepEmQuiet Travel Activity Tray and they were kind enough to send one for us to review.
Georgia is 5 now and by all means is a good traveller. If our journey is more than 2 hours though, the iPad doesn’t really cut it anymore. I love the idea of this Activity Tray. It fits perfectly over their lap in the car seat and has lots of pouches for pens, a slot of the iPad and the transparent film which you can slot pages under were a big hit. Using whiteboard markers you can play naughts and crosses or spot the difference (4 sheets included) over and over again – you can of course add your own sheets too.
We tested it out and Georgia gave it a thumbs up. She loved being able to watch the iPad and eat her ice cream at the same time. She loves drawing and writing so the transparent film and markers were a big hit for her. These photos were taken while stationery but it has been used twice since then, while travelling and she and loved it both times.
