The Slipfree® story started in 2014 in Turkey by a husband and wife team with a background in design & textiles. They started selling in one department store and it quickly became a huge success now sold in over 2000 locations and established as a well-known trusted brand loved by parents and kids. They next set about expanding internationally and first sold into the Middle East in 2016 and over the next few years quickly expanded to over 48 countries.
The UK & Ireland journey started at the beginning of 2018 where we launched the brand and set out to place Slipfree® in retail locations so they could be found by parents. We are really proud to be stocked in JoJo Maman Bebe, Joules, Mountain Warehouse, Butlins, local department stores and many amazing independent footwear, childrenswear and gift shops around the country.
We’ve harnessed the power of social media through Instagram & Facebook to gain fans of the product and receive the most amazing reviews from parents using words like ‘godsend’, ‘lifesaver’, ‘wouldn’t be without them’.
Slipfree® shoes are such an incredible unique product that keep kids safe and protected from slipping, hot floors, sharp objects & infections. They are so much more than a swim or holiday shoe as you can use them all year round in so many places, which makes them such great value for money. Use them at home as slippers, in the bathroom, the garden, at the pool, leisure centre and we recommend to always put them in your bag for days out at the beach, splashparks etc. They are brilliant for pre-walkers to help them safely take their first steps and we do sizes all the way up to adults to keep older people safe in slippery situations. We also launched a gorgeous range of sun safe UPF50+ matching swimwear in 2020 to keep kids safe from top to toe!
