Gitcombe Estate is home to a collection of stylish gold rated 4 and 5 star self- catering holiday cottages. Guests staying at Gitcombe have access to heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, steam room and an outdoor hot tub with non slip decking, and lovely views of Dartmoor National Park. The outdoor pool is normally open from the end of may through to mid September.
For the younger kids there is an indoor soft play as well as a toy shed with goodies to borrow like buckets and spades, crabbing lines and other beach equipment from. There is also a tennis court, basket ball net and boulles court. The outdoor playground has been hand carved and it includes a pirate ship, tree house and swings for the whole family.

Gitcombe is owned and run by Peter O’Brien and his father, Rodney. They moved there in 2013 and Peter lives on site which enables him to help welcome guests and be on hand if any help is needed. All of their cottages are child friendly with built in stair gates, travel cots, high chairs, baby baths and other accessories you may need when travelling with a little one.
