My Favourite Pregnancy-Safe Products So Far

Okay, so when I first found out I was pregnant, I had no idea what to buy or where to start when it came to pregnancy-friendly products! It can all feel a bit overwhelming, can’t it? So I thought I’d put together a little list of some of the creams, oils—and even a fake tan—I’ve been using (and loving!) throughout my pregnancy. Whether you’re pregnant yourself or looking for a gift for someone who is, I hope this roundup gives you a few helpful ideas!

My Little Coco Bump Butter – £9.99

This was actually the first product I tried, and honestly, it’s been my favourite! It was gifted to me by a friend and I absolutely loved it. It’s super soft, really hydrating, and gentle on the skin. I used it daily and it lasted ages, which was a bonus. I’ve found it really helps with keeping my skin supple and reducing stretch marks. For under a tenner, it’s amazing value—and it smells lush too!

🧴 Mama Mio Tummy Rub Oil – £4.93

I had a smaller bottle of this one, but I really liked it! If you prefer an oil over a cream, this is a great shout. It’s light, silky, and a little goes a long way—one small pump covered most of my bump! Left my skin feeling soft and moisturised without being greasy.

👙 Mama Mio Pregnancy Boob Tube – £16.00

This one was a surprise favourite. My skin’s been quite dry and itchy during pregnancy, especially around my chest, and this really helped soothe that. It’s super moisturising and I’ll definitely be buying it again—it’s nearly empty already!

🧴 Mama Mio Tummy Rub Butter – £9.80

Another gift and another one I’ve been loving! It’s similar to the Boob Tube in texture and hydration but designed for the bump. It’s packed with omegas and antioxidants to help strengthen and hydrate stretching skin—and it’s even won awards! So far, I’ve not had any stretch marks, so maybe it’s doing its thing!

☀️ Lucy Bee Self Tan Mousse – £22.50

Yes, I’ve been tanning during pregnancy (safely, of course)! I’d been eyeing up this local brand for a while—they’re palm oil-free and have loads of pregnancy-safe products. I went for the natural tanning mousse and it’s honestly fab. Lightweight, no streaks, and it develops into a lovely glow. I left mine on overnight and woke up with such a nice, even tan. It’s suitable for both pregnancy and breastfeeding. I also grabbed the blending brush and honestly—game changer!

💧 Lucy Bee Hydra-Bod Body Cream – Normally £17.50 (currently reduced to £5 due to a faulty pump)

I LOVED this cream. It’s unscented, super gentle, and sorted out my dry, itchy skin without any irritation. It’s deeply hydrating and made my skin feel soft all day. The coconut oil in it works wonders, and again—it’s pregnancy and breastfeeding safe. I’ve run out now but will definitely be ordering more!

💛 My Little Coco Bump Oil – £15.99

Because I loved the Bump Butter so much, I was gifted this oil for my birthday and it’s so lovely to use. It’s enriched with organic coconut oil and feels amazing on the skin. I like applying it before bed—it’s relaxing and keeps my bump feeling nourished. Like the others, a little goes a long way, so it should last through to the end of pregnancy!

🎁 My Little Coco ‘All About the Bump’ Gift Set – £18.00

Another birthday gift, and such a cute one if you’re buying for a pregnant friend or family member! It includes the Bump Butter, a bath soak, and a bump sheet mask (which I’m saving for the perfect self-care night!). The mask has cooling aloe vera, hydrates dry skin and helps with stretch marks—love the idea of a face mask… but for your bump!

So there you have it—some of the products I’ve been using (and loving!) during my pregnancy. Whether you’re expecting yourself or looking for a thoughtful gift, I hope this little list helps. I’ve really enjoyed using these, during this wild but magical time 💛
