Last year the fabulous bloggers (Annie from Mammasaurus, Tanya from Mummy Barrow and Penny from Alexander Residence) had a master plan: to relay from Land’s End to John O’Groats for Comic Relief using the steam and energy of bloggers throughout the UK. Their target: to raise £10,000 for Comic Relief. This year they are doing it again and have raised the stakes to £20,000! So I am proud to be one of over 150 bloggers and their families and friends helping make this happen. For six weeks and 3000 miles, bloggers in the UK will unite around the country starting in Cornwall on the 12th January finally finishing on 23rd March in John O’Groats.

I am very excited to say that I am taking part in the London leg of the relay. Over 40 of us will be honking around London on the 5th February following a Monopoly theme – our very own Honkopoly! After relieving Steph from Steph’s Two Girls and Hannah from Muddling Along Mummy of the baton we will head off around London visiting all the colours of the Monopoly board and we might be dressed accordingly too – watch this space… We will travel by foot, bike, train, tube and bus in true London style before passing the baton on in Fleet for 6th Feb.
