Well, todays school run was interesting. After all the lovely weather we’ve been having I forgot how annoying a wet walk to school can be! This morning when I looked out the window all I saw was rain! The forecast didn’t look like it was going to lift anytime soon so, we got our raincoats and wellies out, and just made the best of it.
Georgia was very excited to try out the new Hatley Colour Changing raincoat we’d been sent. It was great on the walk to school and kept her warm and dry. She loved watching the unicorns change colour while walking and when we were at school the jacket was a completely different colour to when she left.
As a mum, I can highly recommend this jacket. It is perfect for wet autumn weather. I love that its fully lined, 100% waterproof and that it has poppers rather than a fiddly zip – Georgia is 5 and was able to get into and out of it with ease. If you do happen to get splashed with mud, its not a worry as it is machine washable too.
If your kid is a serious puddle jumper why not get the whole kit: Raincoat, umbrella, splash pants and wellies? Hatley rainwear is more expensive than high street brands but you can see and feel why. It is made to last and be passed down from child to child. This is Georgia’s second Hatley raincoat and her first one is out having lots of fun on a friends little one down the street.
