After two years of being postponed Glastonbury has finally arrived, we are well and truly in Festival season now!! We all know how difficult it is for everyone to get Glastonbury tickets, they are like gold dust, however, it is still enjoyable to have it on at home with the family, having a little boogie.
If you are a family that love a festival, but more low key and easier to get tickets or maybe want to trial run one that is a little smaller, there are lots of family-friendly festivals to choose from! including, Standon Calling (a very popular one in our family as it is just up the road from where we live!) in Hertfordshire, Camp Festival in Devon and Shropshire, Elderflower Fields in East Sussex, Latitude in Suffolk & many many more… All these festival have so much for the kiddies to do, with dedicated children’s programmes and areas for them to mingle and go crazy, along with well known acts musicians for everyone.
We know camping with young kids at a festival isn’t for everyone so maybe head down for the day or have your own festival in the garden.

If you don’t quite fancy a festival this year but wouldn’t mind a bit of camping? Or glamping should I say… we work with a number of glamping accommodation owners on Holiday Tots, all of whom welcome family with babies and toddlers and they are always popular this time of year. Maybe the talk about music festivals gets everyone into the spirit as well as wanting to be outdoors enjoying those brighter mornings and later evenings.
